Unveiling the Depths!
The Sea took us on a poignant journey of human resilience and shared sorrow. The play took center stage at The Tank NYC on Monday, December 4th at 7 pm. As part of the International Human Rights Art Festival Ten-Minute Play program, this evocative production was an unforgettable exploration of the lives left behind in the wake of illegal immigration tragedies.
"The Sea" by Taiwo Aloba unfolds in just ten minutes but packs a powerful punch. The play's narrative is expertly woven through the emotive performances of two talented actresses, Estelle Bikibili and Enih Agwe, who brought depth and authenticity to their characters.
The International Human Rights Art Festival is renowned for curating impactful performances that address pressing social issues, and "The Sea" was no exception.
