I Co-Moderated a Virtual Panel Discussion on the Intersections Between Technology and Music.

On May 24, 2024, Afriicionado hosted the first day of a three-day Africa Day Celebration titled “Year of the Education.” The event featured a virtual discussion that invited esteemed panelists to explore the convergence of technology, African Music, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Afrobeat(s).

Folake Phillips, Kalemba Kizi, and I moderated the discussion. The panel featured notable experts and artists, including Dr. Kenny Ogungbe, Yannick Tona, Amina Norman-Hawkins, and Coolout Chris. The keynote speech was delivered by Yannick Tona, a career member of the Foreign Service and cultural integration leader.
